Hidden Valley Lake

Hidden Valley Lake is a small community in Lake County, California. Located just to the north of Highway 33, it's about 30 minutes from Lakeport and about 50 minutes from Clearlake.

The lake itself was created in 1914 by the construction of a dam on the McCloud River. The surrounding area is filled with redwood trees and other native flora, which makes it a popular spot for hikers, campers, and bird watchers.

In addition to its natural beauty, Hidden Valley Lake has plenty of activities for people looking for fun things to do.

You can take a boat trip or rent a kayak from one of the local businesses that offer those services at the lake. You can also go fishing or swimming at one of the beaches around Hidden Valley Lake. If you prefer something less active than fishing or swimming, there are also some great restaurants near Hidden Valley Lake where you can enjoy delicious food while watching the sunset over this beautiful body of water!
